The Towcester Monday 6-a-side league showed no signs of any drop off as we approach the end of the season, with all the teams producing some incredible action. 

Vectors Army kicked off week 16 of the season with a 5-2 win over Ivory Toast to move up into fifth place, following which Hardly Athletic picked up some vital points by beating Yoshimura with the same scoreline. 

Pooventus earned a huge result, as they came through a thriller against leaders Last in the Kitchen to eliminate the gap between the two, now level with the table-toppers on points with not a huge goal difference between them. 

The reignition of their title hopes was followed by the most entertaining game of the week, as Boca Seniors prevailed over Towcester Young Boys in a 14-goal thriller to win 8-6.

And finally, Champaigne Super Rovers rounded off the action with a fairly routine 3-0 win over the Ganges.
