Towcester Monday 6-a-side: Terrific games!
The Towcester Monday 6-a-side league continued to provide blockbuster entertainment with some more sensational games of football this week.
In the first game of the week, Pooventus and Hardly Athletic went toe-to-toe in a terrific matchup. In an end-to-end affair, it was Pooventus who eventually found the edge and managed to win 5-4.
The next game saw sheer dominance from Boca Seniors, who stormed past the Ganges 12-1 and broke into the top two.
Last in the Kitchen FC showed why they were league leaders, taking care of business as usual to beat Towcester Young Boys 5-2.
Vectors Army grabbed a crucial win over Champaigne Super Rovers to climb up the standings, beating the Rovers 4-1, before Yoshimura FC beat Ivory Toast 3-1 for only their third win of the campaign, taking them out of the bottom two.
