It was another exhilarating night of 6 a side football at the Birmingham Sunday League, as teams from across the divisions vied for supremacy in Week 3.


The Premier League division witnessed some high-octane battles. Six Shooters managed to edge out Small Plates FC with a narrow 4-3 win, while GamingSoc demonstrated their prowess with a decisive 5-2 triumph over The Hungry Boys. Avengers Assombalonga rounded up the division's matches by shutting out DADS ARMY 3-0.


In Division 1, The Cotters scraped past AFC Domi Force in a tense 2-1 victory, whereas WIP U23s had a strong showing against Sevilla Tism FC, winning 4-2. Chivas Primera secured a 2-1 win over Backshots FC, and Chiellini Con Carne stood out with a whopping 9-1 thrashing of BOSHERS FC.


The action continued in Division 2, where Dead Ballers FC dominated Steel And Iron 5-1, and Madeline Milan outpaced Ringers FC 4-1. Over in Division 3, Road To GC and Priory Panthers faced off in a nail-biting clash ending with an 8-7 result in favour of Road To GC, while Hyeungmyson FC defeated Villa-ns Assemble 2-1.


Unfortunately, no results were available for Division 4 this week.


Without a doubt, the top goal scorers were the talk of the week. In the Premier League, GamingSoc's striker was in fantastic form, netting three goals. The Cotters' forward in Division 1 stole the show with a brace, while Dead Ballers FC's attacker was unstoppable with a hat-trick in Division 2. In Division 3, Road To GC's forward scored four goals, ensuring a thrilling victory for his team.


As we look forward to the next week of Birmingham Sunday Football League, one thing is for sure - the excitement and competition are only going to intensify.
