Sunday 17th August - Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled barring one cancellation from Clubs, who return next week.

In the "Premier League" division, The Hungry Boys edged a hard-fought victory over 3 Small Plates FC in a 2-1 clash. DADS ARMY, however, were the standout performers with a convincing 5-1 win against Avengers Assombalonga, with their star player, Harry, stealing the show by scoring five goals to become the top scorer in the division. Sevilla Tism FC and Cadballerz had a closely contested match, with Cadballerz securing a narrow 1-0 victory.

In "Division 1", Moseley Magpies dominated Madeline Milan by a whopping 9-1. BOSHERS FC emerged victorious against Joga Bonito with a 4-0 win. Chiellini Con Carne secured a 2-0 triumph over Ringers FC, and AFC Domi Force bested Backshots FC 2-0.

"Division 2" also witnessed high drama. Villa-ns Assemble narrowly missed out against Stevie Wonders, losing by 3-2. Chivas Primera crushed Shlongball with a 7-0 victory, while Sharkys Saints and Dead Ballers FC landed in a 1-1 draw. The Cotters topped Diamond Scrubs 3-0.

In "Division 3", Hyeungmyson FC managed a last-minute victory against 6 LITTLE BIRDS FC, and Brumtown Ballers secured a 2-0 win against BMI.
