Sunday 1st Feburary - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with the only disappointment being a couple of non-attendances, both teams will be spoken to accordingly.

In the Premier League, Tekkerslovakia pulled off a stunning 6-2 victory over DADS ARMY, securing their place at the top of the league. Meanwhile, WIP U23s managed a strong 4-2 win against The Hungry Boys, further shaking up the leaderboard.

Over in Division 1, matches were closely contested with AFC Domi Force edging out Chivas Primera 1-0 in a tight game. Retired Inc managed a narrow 4-3 win against Chiellini Con Carne, and Bristol Roaders triumphed 3-2 over Stevie Wonders. The Cotters and Villa-ns Assemble battled to a 3-3 draw, making it a thrilling week for the division.

Division 2 saw some of the highest scoring games of the week, with Dead Ballers FC obliterating Road To GC 6-0. Backshots FC secured a 5-3 victory against Diamond Scrubs, while BOSHERS FC and Shaggers ended in a 3-3 draw. Sharkys Saints clinched a 4-3 win over Steel And Iron, rounding off an intense week of competition.

In Division 3, Parkhouse Rangers dominated Benchwarmers FC with a 4-0 win, clearly showcasing their football prowess on the field.
