Sunday 22nd June - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week once again, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night barring Ballaz For Life who've now been removed and replaced with new team BMI, who we wish good luck going into their first fixture on Sunday 29th June!

In the Premier League, Avengers Assombalonga emerged victorious over GamingSoc in a thrilling 2-0 match. Cadballerz overcame 3 Small Plates FC with a resounding 6-1 win, marking their dominance in the league. Chivas Supplemento took down Sevilla Tism FC 4-2, while DADS ARMY eked out a close 1-0 win against The Hungry Boys.

In Division 1, Moseley Magpies flew high with a 4-1 win over Chiellini Con Carne. Bocat Army defeated Villa-ns Assemble 2-1, and Jiggy Jiggy United put on a stellar performance against Ringers FC with a 5-1 victory. HARAM BALL managed to edge out AFC Domi Force 1-0 in a nail-biting match.

Division 2 was equally thrilling, with the Dead Ballers FC and Stevie Wonders settling for a 1-1 draw. Chivas Primera blanked Sharkys Saints 4-0, while Kroos Control defeated Diamond Scrubs 2-1. The Cotters came out on top against Shlongball with a 3-1 win.

The action in Division 3 saw WIP U23s triumph over Steel & Iron 3-0, while Clubs won a closely contested match against Brumtown Ballers 2-1. Road To GC fell short against 6 LITTLE BIRDS FC, losing the match 1-2.
