Sunday 22nd March - University of Birmingham Sunday Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Tekkerslovakia who had to cancel, we thank them for letting us know.

In the Premier League, GamingSoc secured a decisive 3-0 victory over The Hungry Boys, proving to be the dominant force on the pitch. In a more closely contested match, DADS ARMY edged out WIP U23s with a 3-2 win, ensuring the competition remains fierce in the upper echelons of the league.

Over in Division 1, AFC Domi Force just managed to squeeze past Stevie Wonders with a hard-fought 3-2 win. Meanwhile, Chivas Primera and Villa-ns Assemble battled to a 0-0 stalemate, a testament to the defensive prowess of both teams.

In Division 2, Backshots FC toppled The Shaggers 4-2 in a high-scoring encounter. Meanwhile, Sharkys Saints claimed a narrow 2-1 victory over Road To GC, with Hungover FC suffering a heavy 5-0 defeat at the hands of Steel and Iron. Dead Ballers FC and BOSHERS FC ended their game in a 1-1 draw.

Division 3 saw some thrilling action as well, with The Naughts overcoming Parkhouse Rangers 4-2, and Priory Panthers outscoring Femballers Athletic with a 5-1 victory. A high-scoring draw between BierhausBallers and Benchwarmers FC rounded off the night, with both teams sharing the spoils in a 4-4 draw.
