Sunday 24th August - University of Birmingham Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football to end the season in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night barring two in the lower division who will be spoken to accordingly.

We will be in touch with all teams this week to confirm details of the new season which gets underway on Sunday 31st August.

In the Premier League division, GamingSoc clinched victory with 24 points and an impressive tally of 11 wins. They secured their championship title with a nail-biting 2-1 victory against The Hungry Boys, showcasing their dominance and consistency throughout the season.

Moseley Magpies soared to the top in Division 1 with a total of 28 points, punctuating their fantastic season with a resounding 7-2 win over Joga Bonito. Their 14 wins are a testament to their unyielding spirit and formidable prowess on the field.

In Division 2, Chivas Primera emerged victorious with 24 points and 11 wins. Their decisive 2-0 victory against Villa-ns Assemble was a clear indication of their superiority and resilience, rounding up a highly competitive season.

WIP U23s reigned supreme in Division 3, amassing a total of 27 points and 13 wins. The team showed their mettle and determination, clinching the championship in a fiercely competitive division.
