Sunday 25th February - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all six divisions, the only exceptions being Ball of Duty and Moist Blankets, both of which will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their returns on Sunday 3rd March.

In the Premier League division, Athletico Northfield claimed victory over DADS ARMY with a 2-0 win, thanks to a sterling performance from top scorer Charlie, who netted one of the goals. Chiellini Con Carne narrowly defeated Real Pasante 1-0, while METCH FC edged out Cadballerz 2-1 in a closely contested match.

Moving on to Division 1, Alton Wanderers FC triumphed over Robben Me Blind with a 2-1 score, while SB Generals demonstrated their prowess with a significant 5-1 win over FDL FC. Up The Cru dominated Chivas Supplemento with a 4-0 victory, with the division's top scorer, Ryan Miller, contributing two goals for Up The Cru.

In Division 2, Chivas Primera managed a 1-0 victory against Broderick AFC, while Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys routed Sharkys Saints with a 5-1 win. However, the highlight of the evening was Sporting Stirchley FC's 10-0 demolition of Diamond Scrubs, with top scorer James Benson netting 4 goals.

Moving down to Division 3, AFC Domi Force stood tall against Sevilla Tism FC, winning 4-0, and The Cotters secured a 3-1 win over Leavemyarcelona. ECFC also earned a 3-0 victory against TMA, while BigFatDave FC and Top Gs ended the match with a 1-1 draw.

Division 4 saw Brummie Boys FC dominate White Horse FC with a 6-0 victory, while Paraletic Athletic and Shaggers earned 1-0 and 2-0 victories over Kathys Boys and Circumcised United respectively.

In Division 5, Athletics took down Finding Timo with a 4-1 win, and Surging Beasts secured a 2-0 victory against Invictus FC.
