Sunday 5th November - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a superb evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across the six divisions.  The only exceptions to this were two teams.  Becks on Draught and Schlupp Matip in the lower divisions, both of which will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their returns to action on Sunday 12th November.


In the Premier League, Gledfellas overpowered Chiellini Con Carne with a 2-0 victory while Damo Carew stole a win over METCH FC with a 3-1 scoreline. Ls Up Fc delivered an exceptional performance, trouncing DADS ARMY 6-1. A fierce encounter saw Chivas Primera edge Washed Kings FC 4-3. Gary Bennett of Chivas Primera led the way, netting two goals to be the top scorer in the division.


In Division 1, a tight contest between Gangsters Allardyce and Athletico Northfield ended in a 1-1 draw. Robben Me Blind squeezed a 1-0 victory over Sharkys Saints and FDL FC comfortably defeated Chivas Supplemento, with Sean Bizabani scoring twice for FDL FC.


Division 2 witnessed a high scoring match where SB Generals emerged victorious over TMA with a 11-0 score. Liam Smith was the standout player in this division with an impressive haul of six goals. The Hungry Boys held off Alton Wanderers FC to clinch a 2-1 win.


In the Division 3 showdown, Broderick AFC overwhelmed MXRLEYS ANGELS with a massive 11-0 triumph. Leavemyarcelona and Le Sserafim FC also secured wins over their respective opponents.


Division 4 saw Sevilla Tism FC thrashing Paraletic Athletic 4-0 and Kroos Control managing a narrow win over Tory Tower FC.


Lastly, in Division 5, Hangin and Tampons Should Be Free claimed victories, while Say No To Drugs FC and Circumcised United also emerged victorious in their fixtures.
