Sunday 7th May - University of Birmingham Round-Up

The Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league at University of Birmingham Sports Centre saw some thrilling action during game week 3, with plenty of goals and drama across all divisions.


In the Premier Division, Chivas Supplemento were in fine form and secured a convincing 5-1 victory over Dads Army. Meanwhile, Gledfellas managed to edge out Washed Kings FC in a closely fought encounter, winning 5-4. Damo Carew also had a narrow victory over Chiellini Con Carne, triumphing 3-2.


In Division One, Metch FC secured a 1-0 win over The Elgar Penthouse, while Tikka Takka Til I Die Pt2 were in ruthless form and won 6-0 against Weve Got Diogo Jota.


Division Two saw some close matches, with Ndicka in Dias just managing to edge out Alton Wanderers FC in a high-scoring encounter, winning 5-4. Invictus FC and Robben Me Blind played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw, while Bell Them Birds Back Lad secured a comfortable 4-0 win over Hicks and Eel.


In Division Three, Ndicka in Dias had another close victory over Alton Wanderers FC, winning 5-4. Invictus FC were involved in another draw, this time a 1-1 result against Robben Me Blind. Bell Them Birds Back Lad secured another comprehensive victory, defeating Hicks and Eel 4-0.


In Division Four, Sporting Lesbians managed to secure a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Brummie Boys F.C.


Finally, in Division Five, Youri Nators Alligators and Tiger Force played out an exciting 3-3 draw. The Pie Guys were in fine form and secured a 3-1 victory over Birmingham United, while AFC Domi Force were dominant and won 9-0 against Weoley Warriors.
