Sunday 8th February - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring Lallana Rhodes in Division Three, who will be spoken to accordingly.

We are pleased to welcome new team 'The Naughts' to the league and wish these good luck going into their first fixture with us on Sunday 15th February.

In the Premier League division, Tekkerslovakia and The Hungry Boys shared spoils with a 1-1 draw, while WIP U23s showed their dominance with a 4-1 victory over Sevilla Tism FC. The game between Bad Boys United and GamingSoc ended 3-1 in favour of GamingSoc, highlighting their attacking prowess.

In Division 1, AFC Domi Force's 2-0 win over The Cotters showcased their solid defense. However, the match of the night was Villa-ns Assemble against Stevie Wonders, which ended in a high-scoring 6-3 victory for Stevie Wonders. In other matches, Bristol Roaders beat Retired Inc 3-1 while Chivas Primera edged past Chiellini Con Carne 2-0.

Division 2 saw an impressive 5-0 win for Sharkys Saints over Backshots Fc. Steel And Iron lost 4-2 to Shaggers. However, the biggest win margin of the division went to Road To GC, who thrashed BOSHERS FC 7-0. Dead Ballers FC also had a good day, winning 4-1 against Diamond Scrubs.

In Division 3, Priory Panthers beat Parkhouse Rangers 4-1 and BierhausBallers clinched a narrow 3-2 victory against Femballers Athletic.
