An enthralling season of the Northampton Sunday 7-a-side league came to an end, with Team Alpha claiming the title on a mere goal difference of one goal. 

A title race that could not have been any tighter, saw NN Boyz fight to the death, and if they had just scored one more goal in their final matchday riot of Real Northants, they would have clinched the title. An 8-0 win that was just shy of the mark, but regardless, a terrific season and title race for the top two. 

Whilton FC and PhatseshUnited signed off with a 1-1 draw, while the rest of the games were walkovers.
