The Northampton Sunday league continued this week with some more great performances, as we enjoyed more 7-a-side action at the Uni of Northampton pitches.

As Gromit Mug started off with a 4-1 win over Pay to Win FC, the tight battle for the title continues. 

Heading into the final week of the season, Whilton and Hangover are locked in at 30 points apiece. 

Whilton eased to a 4-0 win past Skippers, as Hangover cruised to a 5-0 win over Retirement Home FC, as Whilton remain on top due to their superb goal difference. 

In the final round of games next week, we will finally find out who takes the title, as the top two will go head-to-head in the most crucial game of the season.
