Northampton Sunday 7-a-side: New year, new season!

We're back and underway for a brand-new season of the Northampton Sunday 7-a-side league!

We had some cracking matches to start the action back up after the Christmas and New Year break. Last season's runners-up Gromit Mug FC kicked off proceedings strongly with a 1-0 win against NGH United. 

There were a couple of walkovers for new side Lets Get Messi FC and reigning champions Hangover FC. 

Following that, Whilton rocketed to the top of the standings, after a comprehensive 8-0 rout of Retirement Home FC. Never Back Down FC beat NN Boyz 6-2 in another high-scoring encounter. 

This is undoubtedly a sign of things to come, as the Northampton 7-a-side league is up and running for this new season.
