We’re approaching the tail end of the Northampton Sunday 7-a-side league, with round eight of fixtures taking place this season.

With walkovers for Pay to Win and Never Back Down FC, the action kicked off with Gromit Mug beating Real Unfit FC 5-0 in a convincing display. 

The second game was a tense affair, as Hangover FC overcame Skippers to win 2-1, keeping the pace with leaders Gromit Mug, only behind on goal difference.

A crucial few weeks lie ahead to decide the title for this season, with very little to separate the sides at this stage.
