Two walkovers and two official games made up round two of the new season in the Northampton Sunday 7-a-side league this week. 

As Never Back Down and Skippers got default 5-0 wins, Gromit Mug and Pay to Win took to the pitch for the opening game.

Gromit Mug were in fine form, as they eased their way to a 4-1 win with an assured performance, while Hangover FC also activated cruise control to dispatch Retirement Home FC 4-0.

Remember though, a walkover for your side doesn’t mean you can’t still get on the pitch. You can always turn up, pay and play as usual to claim your default win and enjoy a no-stakes friendly against another side on the day.
