Sunday 20th August - University of Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Sunday 6 a side league at University of Worcester, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring Kerala Blasters who made no contact with us.  They have failed to return any calls so have been removed and replaced with new team 6IX Offenders who join as their replacement.

In the Premier League, it was a night of nail-biting encounters as four teams clashed in thrilling battles. The match between CHAMPS FC and SEATS R US was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. Both teams exhibited tremendous attacking prowess, resulting in a high-scoring affair. SEATS R US edged past CHAMPS FC with a narrow 4-3 victory, showcasing their ability to convert opportunities into goals.

Another standout performance came from Worcester Team, who secured a comfortable 2-0 win against PLJ FC. Their tight defensive line kept the opposition at bay, while their clinical finishing ensured a well-deserved victory.

Meanwhile, the Division 1 matches witnessed their fair share of spectacular moments. Haller You Kante 2 displayed their dominance on the pitch, securing a convincing 2-0 win against Leek In Defence. Their talismanic attackers proved to be the difference-makers, grabbing two crucial goals to seal the victory.

Crapoli emerged victorious with a 2-0 win against Not In Your Mums Forest. Their solid teamwork and excellent coordination allowed them to control the game and secure a well-deserved three points.

Brom FC delivered an outstanding performance, thrashing LEAVEMEARSELONA by a comprehensive 6-1 margin. Their relentless attacking force overwhelmed the opposition's defense, with their forwards emerging as the top scorers of the Division 1 matches.

Throughout the matches, the Worcester Sunday Football League showcased the immense passion and skill displayed by the participating teams, making for a thrilling evening of football action.
