Sunday 21st April - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester University Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance barring one, Peanut Butter Bandits who failed to show for only their second game, so have been removed and replaced.

We welcome new team Worcester United to the league as a replacement for the above, and wish these good luck going into their debut game on Sunday 28th April!

In the Premier League division, 6IX DEFENDERS triumphed over Oliver Skipp Leg Day with a margin of 4-1, while Haller You Kante suffered a 2-5 defeat against Donnarumma Kebab SFC in a high scoring match. The highest scoring game of the night, however, was Brexit Ballers versus GD Palops Worcester, which saw the latter secure an emphatic 12-2 victory. Lastly, Worcester Team maintained their winning streak with a 7-2 win against CHAMPS FC.

Moving onto Division 1, Brom FC took down BTD FC with a 4-1 victory, while Munter Hunters narrowly won against INTER Ya Nan with a 5-4 score. Mafia FC beat PLJ FC 4-2, while the close match between Victor Moses Lawn and CUNNY FUNTS ended with a 3-2 victory for the latter.

Division 2 saw a startling 11-0 win by Name TBC over Romasexuals. The Mechanics secured a win against MurderOnZidanesFloor with a 2-0 score, and Toe Poke FC showed incredible form with an 11-1 victory over Leek In Defence.

We wish all teams good luck going into the final week of the current campaign with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!  The new season will kick off as normal on Sunday 5th May.
