Sunday 22nd March - University of Worcester Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their scheduled game barring one, we look forward to seeing Desex Friends return as normal on Sunday 29th March!

In Division 1, CAFT DUNTS FC clinched a narrow 2-1 victory over La Familia, highlighting their gritty performance this season. Jota Than The Sun also shined brightly, defeating LEAVEMYARSELONA 3-1, while Giroud Awakening dominated Scoregasm with an impressive 8-0 win. The top scorer for Division 1 this week was undoubtedly the forward from Giroud Awakening, netting a triple in their game.

Moving to Division 2, PLJ FC and Ball Of Duty were evenly matched and had to settle for a 1-1 draw. Similarly, The Pique Blinders and Reckless Ballbashers ended their match in a 1-1 draw. Murder On Zidanes Floor outperformed Tin Foil Hats FC with a 4-1 victory, while a high-scoring game saw WeDontHaveAkalou triumph over AKHI FC 5-3. The top scorer in this division came from WeDontHaveAkalou, scoring an impressive hat trick.

Finally, in Division 3, INTER YA NAN edged past Right Back Out Of The Way 3-2, and Sin And Tonic FC narrowly surpassed Granny Bashers 4-3. Sin-Bier-Bush FC secured a solid 3-1 victory over Brom FC, while Ballerz Fc and Tikka Mo Salah shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw. The top scorer accolade for Division 3 was awarded to Sin And Tonic FC’s striker, who scored all four goals for his team.
