Play in the Worcester Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In a thrilling week of football, the Worcester Sunday 6-a-side Football League continued with its 13th week of matches across divisions - Premier League, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3.

While we did not witness any matches in the Premier League this week, the other divisions saw some eye-catching action. In Division 1, Giroud Awakening continued their impressive run with a commanding 4-0 victory over La Familia. Meanwhile, Desex Friends also picked up full points with a 3-0 win against Reckless Ballbashers.

Over in Division 2, it was a goal fest with Scoregasm and Broken Ankles taking center stage. Scoregasm defeated Aspie Avengers 6-1, with their strikers putting in an outstanding performance. On the other hand, Broken Ankles also recorded a dominating win, with a 6-2 triumph over WeDontHaveAkalou. In another fixture, Pique Blinders edged past Granny Bashers 3-2 in a closely fought match.

The action in Division 3 was equally exciting. Right Back Out Of The Way managed to secure a narrow 2-1 win against Ball Of Duty, while PLJ FC outplayed Sin And Tonic FC with a 4-1 victory. Brom FC also recorded a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sin-Bier-Bush FC. The match of the division, however, was the 3-3 draw between Tikka Mo Salah and Ballerz Fc.

The top scorers for each division were undoubtedly the ones that led their teams to victory this week. Giroud Awakening, Scoregasm, and PLJ FC’s frontmen were the standout performers in Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 respectively.
