Sunday 28th May - Worcester University Round-Up

Game Week 12, held on May 28th, proved to be a thrilling round of matches in the Leisure Leagues University of Worcester Sunday 6 a side League. As the campaign neared its conclusion, teams fought tooth and nail to secure valuable points and establish their positions in the league standings. Here are the exciting match results:


Premier Division:


In a fiercely contested encounter, Worcester Team, playing their second game of the season, showcased their determination and put up an impressive performance. However, they fell just short as they faced the formidable Milwall. The final scoreline saw Worcester Team 2 - 3 Milwall. Despite the defeat, Worcester Team can take pride in their spirited display.


Brom FC and Brewers FC clashed in a battle for supremacy. Despite their best efforts, Brom FC failed to find the back of the net, allowing Brewers FC to capitalize on their chances. With a clinical display, Brewers FC emerged victorious with a 2-0 win, securing vital points in their quest for Premier Division dominance.


Champs FC faced the league debutants, Maradona Kebab, who proved to be a formidable opponent. In a tight and hard-fought contest, Champs FC managed to scrape through with a narrow 1-0 victory. Maradona Kebab showcased their potential by putting in a solid performance against the table-toppers, leaving spectators eagerly anticipating their future matches.


Haller You Kante put on a goal-scoring spectacle against PLJ FC, notching an impressive five goals. PLJ FC fought valiantly but could not match Haller You Kante's attacking prowess. The match ended with a scoreline of 5-2 in favor of Haller You Kante, securing a well-deserved victory.


Division One:


Division One witnessed intense battles as teams vied for the two coveted promotion positions. The top four teams, separated by just one point, displayed their determination to make their mark.
