Sunday 6th August - Worcester Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams attending barring one, Stevie Wanderers FC who have now been removed from the league.

We are delighted to confirm the addition of new team '2 Left Feet' to the league and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Sunday 13th August as they replace the above.


In the Premier League division, CHAMPS FC faced a tough challenge against Worcester Team, but unfortunately fell short, losing 0-1. The top scorers in this division for the week were Haller You Kante, who dominated with a 7-3 victory over SEATS R US. Injured FC also had an outstanding performance, defeating PLJ FC with a 7-2 scoreline. Meanwhile, Maradona Kebab struggled to find the back of the net, losing 0-2 against 6 Offenders.


Over in Division 1, Kerala Blasters showed their prowess by emerging victorious with a convincing 3-0 win against Leek In Defence. The top scorers in this division were Haller You Kante 2, who showcased their attacking prowess yet again with a resounding 5-0 triumph over Brom FC. LEAVEMEARSELONA had a difficult outing as they went down 0-4 against Crapoli.


The Worcester Sunday Football League has seen some exceptional performances from players throughout the season, and week 8 was no exception. As teams continue to battle for supremacy in their respective divisions, fans eagerly await the upcoming matches, hoping for more exciting encounters and memorable goals.


The league organizers would like to thank all the players, officials, and supporters who contribute to the success of the Worcester Sunday Football League. With each passing week, the league continues to grow in popularity, showcasing the passion and talent of local footballers.
