MAIDSTONE WEDNESDAY 6 A SIDE RESULTS - MATCH DAY 12

The adrenaline was high last night as Week 12 of the Maidstone Wednesday Football League saw some thrilling matches in both the Premier League and Division 1. The hard-fought matches have set the tone for the final two weeks of the season, as teams look to secure their positions.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Lobs United and LadsOnToure battled out a high-scoring match, with LadsOnToure clinching the victory with a scoreline of 5-3. The match between Phil Mc Corey and Running Up That Gil was also a nail-biter, with Running Up That Gil narrowly winning 4-3 to keep their title hopes alive. However, in a real show of defensive prowess, Borussia Teeth managed to keep a clean sheet and secure a 1-0 victory over Brenchley Faithful in the match of the day.

DIVISION ONE

Moving to Division 1, Bottle Job FC showed their mettle beating Get The Badge In 3-1 while Gangsters Allardyce dominated the pitch against Ollys Fantasies, cruising to a 5-1 victory. The biggest win of the night, however, belonged to leaders 6 Offenders, who defeated Maidstone Mingers 11-1, largely due to the striking proficiency of Cuba Mace, who netted an impressive four goals. Invicta Motors FC also reigned supreme in their match against Mo Leicesters, winning 5-1. With the title already secure and their 100% record in tact it will be good to see how 6 Offenders vary in the top flight next season.

With just two weeks left in the season, the competition is heating up. In the Premier League, the goals are flowing and in Division 1, Cuba Mace of 6 Offenders has staked his claim as the top scorer, setting a high bar for the final weeks.
