Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 16

In a thrilling week 16 of the Maidstone Wednesday 6-a-side football league, tension filled the air as the teams geared up to secure their final places in the table with only two weeks remaining.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Athletic Dildao emerged victorious in a one-sided encounter, securing a resounding 5-0 win over new team Slippery Balls United. Shed VI proved to be in top form as they defeated Take Oath FC with an impressive 8-1 scoreline. LadsOnToure also marked a significant victory over McGinn And Tonic, ending the match at 4-1, while Hangover 96 faced a narrow defeat at the hands of Mighty Minors, with the scoreboard reading 3-2 in favour of the latter.

DIVISION TWO

In the Division 2, Hardly Athletic FC triumphed over They See Me Brolin, with a 3-1 scoreline. Romasexuals and Get The Badge In battled it out in a closely contested match, ending at 4-3 in favour of Romasexuals. Youths FC secured a narrow victory against Schindlers Assist, bagging a 2-1 win, while Chunky CF outperformed Bottle Job FC, with a final score of 5-3. Oliver Taylor from Bottle Job FC stood out as the top scorer for Division 2, netting three goals for his side.

With only two more weeks left in the season, the stakes are higher than ever, anticipation builds around who will emerge as the ultimate champions in both divisions.
