Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 4

In an exciting week of football in the Maidstone Wednesday 6-a-side league, teams in both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions clashed in a series of thrilling matches.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, Beercelona faced a tough match against Borussia Teeth, ending with a score of 5-1 to Borussia. Albions Degenerates and Brenchley Faithful battled it out in a closely fought match, with Brenchley narrowly edging out their opponents 5-4. New boys Munter Hunters had a tough first assignment  against the leaders and were unable to keep pace with LadsOnToure, who claimed victory with a resounding 7-1 scoreline. Lastly, Phil Mc Corey put up a good fight against Lobs United, but ultimately fell short, losing 4-2. Jack Whitmore of Brenchley Faithful shined as the top goal scorer of the week in the Premier League, scoring an impressive hat-trick.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1 showcased equally intense matches. Bottle Job FC and Get The Badge In ended in a 3-3 draw which was enough to send Badge top. Gangsters Allardyce struggled against Invicta Motors FC, trailing behind with a 7-1 final score. Athletic Dildao secured a clean 4-0 victory over Cowboy Flukes. Hardly Athletic were outplayed by Mo Leicesters, who won the match 7-1. Tekkerslovakia and Sleepy Morgan delivered an unforgettable match as Sleepy Morgan clinched a 6-5 victory. Josh Whitehead of Mo Leicesters topped the goal charts for Division 1, scoring a stylish hat-trick.

Our most valued player of the week, Jack Amos, captain of Lobs United put in an outstanding performance. His influence on the field and dedication to his team stood out, earning him this well-deserved recognition.

As the season continues, both the Premier League and Division 1 teams show no signs of slowing down. We can look forward to more thrilling games and intense competition in the coming weeks.
