Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 5

Week 5 of the Maidstone Wednesday Football League came to a thrilling conclusion last night, with a series of exhilarating matches in the Premier League and Division 1.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, the action was intense, filled with goals and surprising performances. The match between LadsOnToure and Phil Mc Corey ended with a 3-1 victory for Phil Mc Corey which see's the last 100% record go after 5 games in the Prem. The Brenchley Faithful stole the spotlight with a 7-1 victory over Munter Hunters to go top on goal difference while Albions Degenerates defeated Borussia Teeth with a 5-1 score to move up to third.

Brenchley Faithful's Haroun Ahaouari emerged as the top scorer in the Premier League, with an impressive hat-trick, showcasing his exceptional football skills and solidifying his team's position.

DIVISION ONE  

Turning to Division 1, the standout result was Athletic Dildao's impressive 9-0 triumph over Hardly Athletic. Sleepy Morgan edged past Bottle Job FC with a 4-3 victory while Mo Leicesters fell to Tekkerslovakia with a 3-1 defeat. Leaders Get The Badge In and Gangsters Allardyce played a goal-less match while Invicta Motors FC and Cowboy Flukes shared the points with a 1-1 draw. Get The Badge In remain at the top of the table and are the only unbeaten team left in the league.

As we anticipate the next round of matches, we look forward to more exciting games, extraordinary individual performances, and competitive team rivalries in the coming weeks. A reminder that the venue is closed next week for a school event so we will return to action on the 3rd April.
