Maidstone Wednesday 6 a side news New season Kicks Off

In the world of local football, the season has just begun with some exceptional performances in the first week of the Maidstone Wednesday Football League. The league, split into the Premier League and Division 1, saw exhilarating matches and brilliant individual efforts this week.

Premier League
In the Premier League division, the Romasexuals made their mark with a 5-2 win over Bottle Job FC. The star of the show was Hayden, who showed outstanding form by scoring three of the five goals, making him the top scorer in the division this week. Another noteworthy match in the Premier League was the game between Mustard FC and Brenchley Faithful, which ended in a thrilling 5-0 victory for Brenchley Faithful. LadsOnToure also pulled off a narrow win over Inter Mivan, with the final scoreline reading 4-3.

Division 1
Moving on to Division 1, the teams did not hold back either. A fierce match between Unemployed FC and Big Diesels resulted in a 2-2 draw. They See Me Brolin showed dominance with a decisive 5-0 victory over Corey In The Mank FC. Take Oath FC managed a close win over Bonnies Blues with a score of 3-2, while Slippery Balls United beat Debden FC 4-1. In Division 1, Victor from Take Oath FC shone brightest, netting three goals to become the week's top scorer.
