The Milton Keynes Monday 6-a-side football league embarked on its fresh season last night, bringing with it an atmosphere of excitement and competition among the participating teams.

The divisions in action, included the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2.

The first week of the league offered a glimpse of the intense battles that are about to unfold in the following weeks. Teams were seen putting on a show of sheer footballing prowess, in hopes of gaining an early advantage in the season.

In Division 1, the highlights of the evening were the matches between Tomorrows Men and Angys Army, and EKO FC against DL Massive. Tomorrows Men started the season with a bang, mercilessly overcoming Angys Army with a 7 - 0 scoreline. EKO FC also showed no mercy, demolishing DL Massive 8 - 0. The other game witnessed Chunks FC defeating Fat Dads 2 - 0, while Real Liscombe and Bayern Neverlosing shared the spoils with a goalless draw.

Over in Division 2, Wizzlers FC proved their dominance with a massive 8 - 0 victory against Ganja FC. Meanwhile, MI6 took an early lead in their campaign, overcoming Inter Yer Nan with a 7 - 2 win.

The top scorers for the night in Division 1 were the players from Tomorrows Men and EKO FC, each scoring 7 and 8 goals respectively. In Division 2, Wizzlers FC took the spotlight with 8 goals, closely followed by MI6 with 7 goals.

As the season has just begun, it will be interesting to see how these teams fare in the upcoming weeks. The players, as well as avid football fans, are eagerly looking forward to the unfolding of this season's story. One thing is certain though, the Milton Keynes Monday league promises shows no signs of slowing down.
