New Wantage Sunday 6 a side league kicks off!

The first week of the Wantage Sunday 6-a-side Football League's new season saw the Premier League teams take to the pitch on Wantage Town FC's brand new 3G pitch. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, the match between Obesity Boys and AFA ended with a 6-3 victory for AFA. The team demonstrated a strong attacking formation, leaving the Obesity Boys in the dust. Despite their best efforts, Obesity Boys weren't able to close the gap.

The most impressive scoreline of the night was seen in the clash between House Of Spice versus Chubby Alonsos. House Of Spice dominated the match, securing a 10-1 victory. Their scintillating performance was undoubtedly the highlight of the night as they quickly became the team to beat in the division.

Meanwhile, Dorindos FC faced a setback in their opening match against Don Sebs Super Six. The team couldn't manage to find the back of the net and succumbed to a 3-0 defeat. Don Sebs Super Six showcased a solid defence and quick counter-attack game that left Dorindos FC struggling.

As the season has just started, there are plenty of matches left for the teams to turn the tables. The first week's results have set an exciting tone for the rest of the season. It will be interesting to see how the teams adapt their strategies and line-ups in the upcoming matches. It's clear that the competition in the Premier League division of the Wantage Sunday 6-a-side Football League is going to be ferocious.
