ROUND 15 - Match Night Report

Unfortunately only 3 games went ahead tonight over Waterside but they were great matches with some fantastic football. Charlie’s Angels and Team Arrogant took a 5-0 win through their opponents unable to field a side. 

We started the night with Monico v Chicken Tikka Mo Salah. It was a farewell game for Mo Salah who unfortunately have made the decision to leave the league. Monico though turned up to win the game and that they did. A great retry for them see them take the 2 points with a convincing 8-3 win. 

Also at 8:40 we had Range Rovers v DBA. Both teams had momentum after last week and they both showed confidence in spell of the game. A close game throughout ended in a 2-2 draw. 

Then at 9:20 we had the top of the table clash. This was the biggest game of the season so far. Neil FC v Tiki Taka Bow Son. There was a crowd to watch the game tonight and the players really did put on a show. From minute 1 this game was end to end with all players involved working their socks off. The game went into half time 0-0 despite both teams having some good chances. It took about 5 minutes into the second half for the first goal and it was a great over the top ball that led to a wonderful strike to give Neil FC the lead. From there on Tiki Taka pushed on to equalise but Neil have the ability to shut up shop and did a great job in doing so. The game finished 1-0 and the result means Neil now have one hand on the title. With 3 game weeks it’s now in Neil’s hands to get their hands on their first title. 

A great final 3 weeks lined up and I’m looking forward to see you all back over Waterside next week!
