WEEKLY NEWS FOR 6TH SEPTEMBER

It was a good night overall at the Westhoughton Wednesday league, with all teams in attendance as expected, and some excellent high-scoring games played.

However, we have been made aware of an issue with HG Nelson FC, who were extremely abusive and threatening towards the staff at the venue and towards other teams. We have made the decision to remove the team from the league with immediate effect.

We are aware of the number of spaces in the league currently, and are working very hard to build up the league. We hope to have some good news for you in the next couple of weeks.
