WEEKLY UPDATE 23rd AUGUST

A good evening in the Westhoughton Wednesday league with all teams in attendance and everything running as scheduled.

We are still short of players completing their player cards so we have been unable to allocate man of the matches for all games. Can all team captains please invite their player to fill these out as it is the only way to receive the end of season prize.

I would like to clarify that the ball is permitted to go above head height from kick ins and the goalkeeper is permitted to roll the ball back out to the player whom he has just received a pass back from. The ball must then touch another player before being passed back to the goalkeeper.
