WEEKLY UPDATE 2ND AUGUST

Once again another excellent evening of football in the Westhoughton Wednesday league with all teams in attendance and everything running smoothly.

The excellent reputation of this league has already spread and we have a new team called Guess Who starting this week. We would like to take the opportunity of welcoming them to the league and wish them luck for the remainder of the campaign.

I would also like to remind all captains to invite their players to complete their player cards as we were unable to allocate some man of the matches this week due to the names not being listed. It only takes a minute to do and will enable you to collect the player of the season award at the end of the campaign.
