It is two wins from two for the current champions Sam out who resume their place at the top of the league.  They continue their impressive form with a 6 - 0 victory over Weston Super Hans who despite a spirited performance couldn't keep the score line tight.Elsewhere new team Guilty Sigurdsson...

Westhoughton Wednesday returned this week with Sam out looking to retain their title and got their season started with a victory.Elsewhere there were opening day victories for Weston Super Hans, Eggfried Reus and RB Light Cigs.We return next week with a clash between the early pace setters.

Its a huge congratulations to Sam out who have been crowned Champions of the Westhoughton Wednesday League for the first time.  They held off challenges from Peas and Beans Everywhere Paaal to take the title by a point.Focus now turns to the new season which starts this coming Wednesday!
