It was a good evening's football overall in the Durham Sunday 6 a side league this week.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS LEAGUE IS OFF FOR ONE WEEK ON SUNDAY 24TH AUGUST DUE TO THE BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND THE VENUE BEING UNAVAILABLE.  WE RETURN AS NORMAL ON SUNDAY 31ST AUGUST AS PER THE FIXTURES LISTED ONLINE.

In the Premier League, Binny FC met its defeat to Morans Army by a solitary goal, marking a crucial victory for Morans. LVFC and Pambos Pool Party played out a thrilling 2-2 draw while The Moors and Jill's Men also shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw. Different Gravy saw off Exeter Gently FC in a seven-goal thriller, winning the day 4-3. The Premier League remains wide open as we approach the final two rounds.

Division 1 saw Ben's Belly record a comfortable 2-0 victory over Reform UK, while The Red Rockets squeezed past Oldman Athritic 3-2 in a closely fought contest. Willy Wacker Wanderers secured a crucial 3-0 victory against Murder on Zidane's Floor, putting them in a strong position for the final rounds.

Division 2 witnessed some big wins, with EL SPASTICO demolishing Two Goals One Cup in a 5-0 rout, and Man-Chest-Hair-United steamrolling Unathletico Madrid with an impressive 8-0 victory. Busy Bombers also turned up the heat with an 8-2 win over Crashout FC.
