Sunday 13th July - Durham and Spennymoor Round-Up

Game week 7 of the Durham and Spennymoor Sunday 6 a side league went off as planned this week, as all 24 teams were in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions.


In the Premier League, LVFC proved to be the dominant force of the night, claiming a decisive 6-2 victory over Binny FC. Their ruthless performance places them among the league's top contenders. Meanwhile, Morans Army showed their prowess by defeating Jills Men 3-0, demonstrating their solid defensive and offensive coordination. Pambos Pool Party beat Exeter Gently FC 3-1, and The Moors triumphed over Different Gravy with a score of 4-2.


In Division 1, Oldman Athritic narrowly edged out Bens Belly 3-2, in what was undoubtedly a closely contested match. The Red Rockets launched in full force against Millfield Mafias, securing a resounding 5-0 victory, while HOGS defeated Willy Wacker Wanderers 3-0. A single goal decided the match between Mitchells Meaty Men and Reform UK, resulting in a 1-1 draw.


Division 2 was not without its fair share of action. Man-Chest-Hair-United and EL SPASTICO ended their match on a 3-3 draw. Two Goals One Cup managed to silence Mad Dogs FC with a 2-0 victory. However, it was Crashout FC that stole the spotlight with an impressive 8-4 win over Unathletico Madrid. Busy Bombers eked out a 1-0 victory against Tinky Winky Fc.
