Overall it was a good evening's football in the Durham and Spennymoor Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring Sheldon Cooper for a second week in a row, unfortunately leaving us with no choice but to remove them from the league.
In the Premier League, Morans Army dominated the field with an impressive 9-1 victory over LVFC. Displaying fine teamwork and strategic play, they left no room for LVFC to make a comeback. Meanwhile, The Moors secured a 2-0 win against Pambos Pool Party, thanks to their iron-clad defence and impeccable offence.
Moving to Division 1, HOGS brought a storm to the field by crushing Different Gravy 11-0. The winning team's solid play and ruthless approach were unmatched. Elsewhere, Jills Men toppled Reform UK 7-3 in an engaging showdown. Busy Bombers left a mark by rounding off Oldman Athritic 5-1, while The Red Rockets outscored Unathletico Madrid 8-2.
Over in Division 2, Bens Belly outperformed Inter Row-z FC 3-1. Millfield Mafias secured a 3-0 win over BOSH FC. Mitchells Meaty Men came out top in their match against Two Goals One Cup 7-1. Crashout FC ended the day with a satisfying 9-0 victory over WET ROACHES AFC.
