Sunday 4th May - Durham and Spennymoor Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Durham and Spennymoor Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night barring K Men, who've now been removed from the league with immediate effect.

In the Premier League division, the Pambos Pool Party delivered a strong performance, besting the Willy Wacker Wanderers 4-1 in a thrilling match. The Moors skillfully outperformed LVFC with an impressive 7-0 victory, while Morans Army managed to secure a 3-1 win against Binny FC. These victories have significantly reshaped the standings, raising the stakes for the coming week's matches.


The Division 1 games were equally hard-fought and thrilling. HOGS fell short against Reform UK with a 3-1 defeat and Different Gravy managed to hold Oldman Athritic to a scoreless draw. In another closely contested match, Jills Men secured a 2-0 win against The Red Rockets, while the Busy Bombers triumphed 4-2 over Unathletico Madrid.


In the Division 2 lineup, Bens Belly emerged victorious against Millfield Mafias with a 2-0 scoreline. Mitchells Meaty Men turned the tables on Inter Row-z Fc, bagging a 3-1 win. Meanwhile, BOSH FC showcased their dominance over WET ROACHES AFC, walking away with a 5-1 victory.
