It was another fantastic evening's football in the Durham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all 24 teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions.
In the Premier League, the week was dominated by powerhouses, Jills Men (3-0), LVFC (5-1), Morans Army (3-0), and Pambos Pool Party (2-0). Jills Men opened the league with a compelling 3-0 victory over Binny FC, setting the pace for the day. LVFC and Morans Army followed suit with resounding wins over Exeter Gently FC and Different Gravy. Pambos Pool Party closed the day with a clean 2-0 win against The Moors, making it a memorable night for the Premier League.
Division 1 witnessed an outstanding performance by Mitchell's Meaty Men, who secured a whopping 8-2 victory over Ben's Belly. Millfield Mafias narrowly edged out Oldman Arthritic in a 1-0 thriller, while HOGS delivered a strong 4-2 triumph over Reform UK. The Red Rockets rounded off the night with a commanding 6-1 win over Willy Wacker Wanderers.
The Division 2 games were no less exciting. BOSH FC secured a commendable 2-1 win over Inter Row-z Fc. Man-Chest-Hair-United crushed Crashout FC in a dominating 5-0 game. Busy Bombers and Unathletico Madrid both celebrated victory, scoring 3-1 and 11-0 against Two Goals One Cup and Wet Roaches AFC respectively.
