In a spectacular display of football prowess, the Brighton and Hove Monday Night 5 A Side Football League entered week four of the season with electrifying matches under the lights. The standout division, Premier League, was home to some truly exhilarating football.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Inter My Nan FC delivered an impressive performance, dominating new team Benteke Fried Chicken with a 13-2 victory. This win was largely thanks to the stellar performance of Colby Martin, who emerged as the top scorer of the division. Martin found the back of the net a staggering five times, propelling Inter My Nan FC to their decisive triumph.
In another thrilling match, Queens Park Strangers defeated Helen Palmer FC 6-4. Both teams exhibited high levels of skill and determination, however, Queens Park Strangers’ offensive prowess ultimately earned them the win.
As we cross the halfway mark of the season, the Premier League division continues to provide nail-biting football. The teams are pushing their performance boundaries, showcasing the highest level of football talent the city of Brighton and Hove has to offer.
What a compelling season it has been so far, and with Colby Martin's standout performance this week, we are excited to see what the next round of games brings. We return to action on the 2nd June now with no league running next week due to the bank holiday.
Thank you to Simon for running an excellent night and thank you to all our players.
