In a thrilling week of football, Brighton And Hove Thursday's 5-a-side league lit up the pitch with heart-stopping action. Teams from the Premier League and Division 1 demonstrated exceptional skills and sportsmanship, reminding us why we love this game.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, the match of the week was undoubtedly between Immigrante FC and Als Pals FC - a match that saw an awe-inspiring 19 goals split just about evenly. Als Pals FC edged out Immigrante FC in a narrow 10 to 9 win that left spectators breathless. Arthur Taylor from Immigrante FC was the star of the show, scoring a stunning total of 7 goals, making him the top scorer in the division.
Futilely FC stampeded past Mo Leicester City in an 8 - 1 victory, while Old Kent Road FC showed their prowess with an impressive 11 - 5 win against The Hunters.
DIVISION ONE
Over in Division 1, Threshold My Beer set the pitch ablaze by trouncing Pin Universe with a remarkable 11 - 0 victory. Toby Dickens stood out for Threshold My Beer, netting four goals to become the top scorer in this division.
Meanwhile, the match between Exeter Gently FC and Withdean Wanderers ended with the latter team taking the win at 8 - 3.
This week's matches were a testament to the high-caliber football being played in both the Premier League and Division 1 of the Brighton And Hove Thursday's 5-a-side league. Expectations are high as we look forward to next week's matches and the continuation of this exciting season.
