Brighton And Hove Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 9

In the exciting world of local football, Brighton and Hove’s Thursday League is heating up as we plunge into the ninth week of the season. Across two divisions, teams clashed in high-scoring battles that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Old Kent Road FC and Als Pals FC engaged in a nail-biting encounter that ultimately saw Als Pals FC clinching a narrow 5-4 victory. However, the real highlight of the evening was the goal-fest between Immigrante FC and Mo Leicester City. Mo Leicester City ran riot on the field, piling up 15 goals against Immigrante FC's 8.

Credit for Mo Leicester City's win largely goes to their forward, Dylan, who proved himself to be a force of nature, netting six goals and securing his position as the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week.

DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Pin Universe took on Withdean Wanderers, with the latter claiming a commanding 13-5 victory. The battle between The Dadley Boyz and Threshold My Beer was a closer affair, with Threshold My Beer securing a 6-5 triumph in a hard-fought game.

Withdean Wanderers' striker, Idris, was the standout performer in Division 1 this week. His remarkable seven-goal haul not only helped his team clinch victory but also earned him the top scorer title for the division.

These games have indisputably upped the ante as we approach the business end of the season. The players are giving it their all, the spectators are loving every minute, and we can't wait to see what the next week will bring in the Brighton and Hove Thursday League. Stay tuned for more updates.
