Hull 6-a-side Monday League: Weekly Recap 11/04/2022

11/04/2022

Some great matches were played at the Wolfreton School pitches in all three divisions of the Hull 6-a-side Monday league.

Willerby Warriors comfortably beat third-placed Tripe FC 3-0, but due to the default 5-0 win handed to Crystal Meth Palace FC, they moved into top spot in the Premier League. They could turn up, as usual, to enjoy a no-stakes friendly due to the unavailability of opponents UTA FC for the week. Now, only a difference of two goals separates them from Willerby Warriors in second.

At the bottom of the table, Corey FC and Stroke Titty played out a 1-1 draw, earning the former their first point of the season. Meanwhile in Division 1, Virgins On Tour claimed their first win of the season in an enthralling 7-2 win over Real SoSoBAd to climb over them in third place.

Table-toppers Puff Daddy FC claimed their third win on the trot against bottom-placed Only Matip In FC, holding onto their 1-0 lead in a tense match.

Division 2 had some tight matches, as Fenerbackache edged out Gangsters Allerdyce 2-1 to move into the promotion spots. However, the most exciting match of the division was between Texas Oldman and bottom-placed Renford Rejects, who managed to hold their opponents to a 3-3 draw in a pulsating match.
