A terrific season of the Hull Monday 6-a-side league came to a close this week at the Wolfreton School pitches, as we crowned our champs in each division.

In a dramatic turn of events, the Premier League saw Tripe FC beat Maradona Kebab to snatch the title from them at the death on the final matchday. A crazy storyline after both teams had great seasons, but it was Tripe who won the league by a point. 

Division 1 saw Inter Ya Nan lift the trophy and seal promotion to the top flight alongside second-placed Smart Dogs. 

In Division 2, Renford Rejects held on to the top spot and sealed their division win despite a 1-1 draw on the final day against Yorkshire Vikings, who finished third. No Bitches on Pitches clinched promotion, missing out on the title by just one point, but they have lots to look forward to in the new campaign.
