End of the Season at Exeter Monday 5 a side

It was the last round of matches at our Exeter Monday 5 a side league last night at Wonford Sports Club.

A huge congratulations goes to Benchmark who were crowned Premier League champions, ending the season with a 12-3 win over LGBTQ FC, James Richards and Matt Kennard both scoring hat-trick. Balotellitubbies finish as our runners up, 3 points behind the champions, they ended with a 5-0 points match win due to SPT FC being away. The game of the night has to be Tinpot Town vs The Amber Foundation, ending with a 13-12 win for Tinpot, Patrick Smallman smashing in 8 goals. Well done to our Golden Boot winner Jack Plumer of Balotellitubbies who ended the season with 28 goals.

Big thank you to Lester for reffing the night this season and to all our captains and players. The new season will start on Monday 31st October. We are delighted to be welcoming two new teams to the league although LGBTQ are having to vacate the league so we have one place left for a new team to join.
