Exeter Monday 5 a side results round up!

England had a great start in the World Cup earlier in the day and it was good to see all teams in attendance for our Exeter Monday 5 a side league at Wonford Sports Club.

Mambo Number 5 continue to march on as they stay top of the table after a 20-2 win over Balotellitubies, Ty Fisher and Danny Green both scoring 8 each. The top of the table clash between defending champions Benchmark and newcomers Davies House was a classic. In an epic end to end match Benchmark held on for a 13-12 victory, Ryan Murphy and Seb Richards grabbing 4 goals each for Benchmark. Ben Jones and Nathan Colley top scored for Davies House, also with 4 each. 

In other games SPT had a good 15-8 home win against The Amber Foundation, Arthur Parker with 7 goals. Finally Exeter Gently captain Laurie Robinson scored 4 to help his team to a 9-5 victory agaisnt Tinpot Town.
