MONDAY 29TH APRIL GILLINGHAM 6 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS

All the latest news for the Gillingham 6 a side Monday league direct from the Woodlands community Sports Centre.

The league was back after the Easter break and teams were raring to go as all teams were in attendance as expected and playing some great football on the night scoring plenty of goals.

We look to have an exciting season ahead of us with only 3 points separating the top 6 teams and with a few surprise results in the mix it could be anyone's league title to take. 

Monday Knights put up a real fight against league leaders Class on Grass eventually going down 4-2. Cherry Blossom continue to chase them down with an excellent 6-2 win over FC Twente Somthing. While Gillingham Green were the highest scorers on the night putting 8 past Survey UTD. Hoo Elite are much improved and had a fine 3-1 win over Sporting a Biergut.

The last game of the night finished 0-0 between Higham Premier 6 and Medway Magics.

The league is off next week for the Bank Holiday and back the week after for more action from the Gillingham Monday 6 a side league.
