Weston Super Mare 6 a side News!

We have reached the mid-way point of the season and the top team in each division are 5 for 5!

Earlier in the week, Nice to Michu went for a curry and became Chicken Tikka Mo-Salah.

It seemed as though they got a bad one, as they went to the sheds at half-time 2-0 down to an impressive and determined My Little Bony.  They struck early in the second, only to concede another.  BUT... They fought on, despite their centre back playing on an injury and edged the game 4-3! Could this have been their toughest challenge yet?

Elsewhere, Making Emile of It called late in the piece and cancelled their match and subsequently will lose their spot in a popular league.  This handed Sex, Drugs and Carlton Cole a points match win.

Finally, Six Offerenders battled hard to pick up some points, and it looked in the first half that they were going to to come away with something, but, The Premier League is a cruel beast and the final score was 4-2 to Francesco Shotti.

A Full House in Division 1 and some tasty matches on the cards.  First out of the gate Dyslexia and Shooter Tooters.  The latter looking to return to winning ways. They got just that and edged Dyslexia 3-2 in a hotly contested game of two halves.

Then, Ruud Van Nipplejoy came to the floor, up against a good looking Geriatricos side.  Nipplejoy, searching for a win, which have been as rare as rocking horse...... well, let's say, they've been scarce, since their promotion, got their reward and a 3-0 win!

Finally an Milan were looking to stop an impressive run for Moves Like Agger.  This was another well battled match, alas, Moves Like Agger march on with a 3-1 win.

Division 2. Bareley Athletic arrived facing a tough challenge tonight, against league leaders Scoops FC, who, are also still to lose a match.  It played out the way it was predicted, with Scoops FC netting 6 with only 1 in reply.

Next up, Bulgaria Vs Lucky Punts, this, was billed to be the match of the night in the division, with both teams made up of "passionate" players.  It played out just that way, a well fought game of two halves, with the final score 3-3.

Lastly, the new boys in town came to the floor, Robben Me Blind, looking to build on last weeks success, which, they did, as they managed to bang 10 past Inter Ur Nans without response.  Don't be fooled by the League Table, Robben me Blind pick up a league slot that had previous results and a points match loss against them. This is a team to watch!

And thats a wrap for another Thursday Night at Leisure Leagues. As always, if there is anything you need, don't hesitate to contact us.
