Monday 24th January - Worthing Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Havana Club who've now been removed.  We welcome new team Affordable FC to the league as their replacement and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Monday 31st January!

FC Big Wangs and Sevilla Autism keep their places in the top two of the Premier Division, with both picking up 4-0 victories, meaning the three point gap remains.  MK's Dons came out on top in an entertaining nine goal thriller against Packet Inn, running out 5-4 winners.  That result, coupled with Vapors 6-2 reverse against The Dad Bods sees MK move into third place.

Borussia Munchonflapjack's unrelenting form continues as they remain top of Division One, boosting their goal difference massively this week as they thrashed Bodli FC 14-0.  Selden Park Rangers stay in second place and extended their lead over third place to four points as they beat new team Studs FC by a 2-1 score line.  Jen Dog completed the action in the division and moved two points clear of the drop zone as they registered an important 5-2 win over second bottom You Petr Cech Yourself.

In Division Two, another win for Wet Ass Pukki sees them almost home and dry in terms of promotion, they were 6-0 victors over Suzanne's Toy Boys, whilst out of form Pukki 22 dropped out of the promotion places as they suffered their second defeat on the bounce, they were beaten 3-2 by Arseanal this week.  Worthing Rovers won a thrilling encounter as they thrashed LA Dairy Milk by an 8-5 scoreline.

Cream of the South look good value for promotion from Division Three, as they thrashed Unathletico Madrid 13-1, whilst second placed Not So Athletic moved a point clear of third place with a 5-2 victory over Disunited, whilst Bowen Balcony were held to a 2-2 draw by Expected Toulouse.  Jimmy Floyd Hasslehoff were rampant 10-0 winners over Bayern Munchies to round off the action.
